Daniel Rourke Healey. Senior Vice President, Folger Nolan Fleming Douglas Incorporated. Dan has more than 30 years experience successfully advising and managing investment portfolios for his clients. He earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science from Saint Anselm College and an MBA in Finance from American University’s Kogod School of Business Administration.
Dan lives in Annapolis with his wife Celine and their German Shepard, Ezra. In his spare time he enjoys running, travel and art in all forms.
Stuart H. Sorkin. Stuart H. Sorkin is the founder of The Business and Legal Advisors, a business consulting firm specializing in the design and implementation of strategic and integrated business plans for start-ups and small to midsize businesses to successfully combine the business and personal objectives of the owners and executives. As a former entrepreneur, CPA, and attorney with more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Sorkin’s unique background allows him to assist owners and executives with executing on the complex decisions regarding incorporating their personal and financial goals with the appropriate growth or exit strategy for the business.
In addition, Mr. Sorkin supports clients throughout the United States with the planning, negotiation and documenting all forms of transactional work, including choice and formation of business entities; raising of capital and financing; mergers and acquisitions; real estate acquisition and development; incentive compensation; federal and state income tax planning; succession and retirement planning; estate planning and asset protection; family and charitable gifting strategies; and family partnerships.

Mr. Sorkin with his wife Robin in Bethesda, Maryland with their dog, Khaleesi. They have 5 adult children between them. When he is not working, he is singing or skiing. He was born and raised in Chicago but he has lived in the DC area for over 35 years. Mr. Sorkin also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Jack R. Anderson Charitable Foundation.
Keith W. Fulk. Certified Public Account. Keith has been a CPA for 39 years. His is a sole practitioner specializing in compliance work preparing Individual, Corporate, Fiduciary, Estate, and Partnership returns. He also provides tax planning for those entities. He earned his Master’s Degree in Accounting from Catholic University of America and is a long standing member of the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants.
Keith resides in Virginia with his wife. They have three grown children and 5 grandchildren. He enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, traveling and history.
Celine LaVoie Healey. Executive Director, Jack R. Anderson Foundation. Celine has more than 25 years experience in the financial industry in the areas of business development, marketing and investing. She earned a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Maryland in Baltimore County and a Masters of Liberal Arts from Saint John’s College.
Celine lives in Annapolis with her husband Dan and their faithful dog Ezra. They have two adult sons Brenden and Jared. When time permits, she loves reading, travel and satisfying her sense of wonderment about everything.
Michael D. Brown. Michael D. Brown is the junior United States Senator for the District of Columbia. Over the past 40 years, U.S. Senator Michael D. Brown has been involved in many local and national political campaigns – including seven presidential campaigns. He was the president of Horizon Communications, a Washington-based political consulting firm, which he started and managed for 25 years. Senator Brown has also been involved in the past 11 consecutive Democratic National Conventions including being a super-delegate in 2008, 2012 and 2016.
In November 2018, Senator Brown was re-elected to his third consecutive six-year term. The senator was also on the staff of the Democratic National Committee and was a community activist and an elected advisory neighborhood commissioner in his hometown of Washington, DC. He received his BA in government and MA in public policy from the University of Maryland.
In 2008, Barack Obama said, “Even without a vote, Senator Brown has always been a strong advocate for the rights of DC residents.”
Brown serves as one of the five members of the New Columbia Statehood Commission. Along with DC’s nonvoting delegate, the mayor, the DC Council chairman and the DC Congressional Delegation, Senator Brown works to advance the interests of local residents on federal issues.
Brown is chairman of the Statehood No Other Way Foundation, a nonprofit that helps raise money and awareness for the DC statehood movement. In addition, he is the co-host of a weekly call-in radio show, Shadow Politics, which has been on the Internet for the past six years.
For three years, Senator Brown has been a speaker at the Horasis Global Conference in Portugal with participants from more than 70 countries. In addition, he was a keynote speaker at the 2019 Resilience Summit in Hyderabad, India.
Rick W. Rutherford. Rick W. Rutherford has a long established career in the field of applied behavioral sciences and organization development. Over the course of his first thirty five years in the field, Mr. Rutherford operated as an external consultant serving more than 150 clients throughout various market sectors including public, private and not – for profit entities. For the past 9 years, Mr. Rutherford has worked as an internal senior level organization effectiveness consultant for the Boeing Company.
Over the course of Mr. Rutherford’s practice he has specialized in aiding clients to achieve both higher effectiveness and increased efficiency. Among his primary areas of specialty are, conflict management, change management, organization strategy development, organization design, diversity and inclusion consultation, leadership development and coaching and merger and acquisition support.
Rick and his wife Jane are 40-year residents of Capitol Hill. During our years as part of the Capitol Hill community we raised our two now adult children and have been actively involved in community organizations as donors, volunteers, board members and supporters. In addition to his service on the Jack R. Anderson Charitable Foundation board, Mr. Rutherford serves as a member of the Capitol Hill Village board which is an organization dedicated to providing services and support for our aging neighbors thereby ensuring a high quality of life in later years. When not working or being involved in community work, we enjoy searching for various antiques and collectibles and following the Washington Nationals where we have held season tickets since their inception.
